How much cheaper is it to go to a dental school clinic?

Obviously one school will probably offer lower fees than another, but I was just hoping to get a general idea of how much cheaper going to a dental school pre-doctoral clinic would be as opposed to just buying personal dental insurance and going to an actual dentist.
